For over five years, Sides Creative has been the creative and technical force behind the For Pete?s Sake rebranding and website. For Pete?s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation (formerly Crossing the Finish Line) is a non-profit organization that assists adult cancer patients, their caregivers and loved ones. Inspired by the late Peter R. Bossow, Jr., we give these patients a break from cancer in a secure and comfortable environment.
Eligible patients, along with their caregivers, receive a one-week expense-paid respite vacation to select locations along the East Coast and in the Caribbean. For Pete?s Sake owns two respite homes near Orlando, Florida and relies on donated vacation homes to supplement additional stays.
Our creative vision has been instrumental in conveying the FPS brand, mission, and ultimately supporting their development initiatives. From the logo, to website, to print materials and event displays, FPS brand is thorough, consistent, and hopeful. We have enjoyed sponsoring and attending fundraising events such as this year?s walk at Citizen’s Bank Park.
Our creative services have been a long-standing In-Kind donation to FPS because their mission of giving back is so closely tied to their hearts as cancer has affected the Sides Creative team on a personal level. (Read our post about that here.)
Cancer patients and their caregivers need and deserve a break from fighting this disease.
We believe in being a strong community partner and want to help cancer patients and their families take a break from cancer. To that end, Sides Creative will be expanding our support of For Pete?s Sake by partnering with FPS partners so that we may sponsor at least one family to travel on a cancer respite each year.
